Can I go to a science show?

We run science discovery shows for the general public during weekends and school holidays. Tickets are bookable online in advance and at reception on the day, subject to availability. Please note you will need a ticket for The Look Out Discovery Centre to attend the show.

What days are you open?

The science centre is open daily to the public. Please check our opening times on our website.

My child is under 3 and is free, do they need a ticket?

All visitors including those under 3 require a ticket, please remember to select your free under 3’s tickets when booking.

What if I’m late?

Late entries to timed sessions will be admitted, but tickets are non-extendable.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Please bring you booking confirmation, there is no need to print this out as we can scan your booking confirmation from your phone. If you do not have a smart phone just make a note of your order number and our receptionists will be able to help you.

Will it be possible to leave and re-enter on the same day?

Yes, on arrival to reception you will be given a coloured sticker corresponding to your session time. If you keep your sticker on, you will be able to come in and out of the exhibition as much as you like until your session ends.

Can children visit unaccompanied?

All children aged 12 and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult (aged 18+).

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, once you have booked your tickets, they are non-refundable. If you are unable to make a session you have booked, please email us at the.lookout@bracknell-forest.gov.uk and we will endeavour to transfer your booking to another session if tickets are still available.

What if someone in my party feels sick on the day?

Please do not attend your session if anyone in your party is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. These are a high temperature, a continuous cough and a loss or change to smell or taste. Please contact us before setting off and we can arrange a transfer of your booking to an alternative date.
